A FULL SOLAR ECLIPSE is on the way in April of 2024! Northern New England is in the path for the full experience. It will be many years until we see the next one here.

Let’s go and experience it! Greg Stidsen and John Rowntree are planning a two-day club event. We will gather in Barlett, NH, on Sunday, April 7th, for some social time and dinner together. The eclipse is total from 3:28 pm on Monday, April 8th. Greg and Andrea will provide a continental breakfast at their New Hampshire home before we depart for a scenic drive heading to Milan, New Hampshire, to be in the ‘path of totality.’ Yes, the New England Alfa Romeo club will be viewing the eclipse from Milano!

Options? Come up and stay in Barlett for Sunday and Monday. Prices and availability are reasonable now, but probably will not stay that way as folks figure out the opportunity. Places to stay fall into three categories: Most luxurious are the inns like Notchland, Bernerhof, Thorn Hill, and Wentworth. Then there are condos like Attitash Village, Nordic Village, and Swiss Chalets Village. Finally, there are the motels like Golden Apple, North Colony, and the hotel at Attitash, the Grand Summit.
