AONE Cape Crusade 2024

IT’S NOT QUITE SEPTEMBER,  but that calm-after-the-storm feel of salt-scented air, cool winds, and emptier roads has already descended on Cape Cod.

Please join us for a tour of the Outer Cape, from Chatham Harbor through Orleans, Eastham, and Wellfleet with its forests of scrub pines, boat houses, dune shacks, and salt marshes. We will explore roads less traveled with a stop at White Crest Beach to scan the waters for seals and Great Whites. This is a totally different route from last year’s! We will end our drive in Wellfleet for lunch and always interesting conversations.

Please plan to arrive between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. We will depart promptly(ish) at 10:30 AM.

Starting Point: Oyster Pond Beach, 80 Stage Harbor Road, Chatham, MA (see the Map & Directions button above).

There is a gas station very nearby; please fill up before arriving as we will not have a chance to do so once the drive begins.
