IMPORTANT NOTE: This year, for the first time, we will meet at the BASE of Mount Wachusett in the SKI AREA parking lot (specifically row #8 but you should easily see us).
Make sure to use the SKI AREA address in your GPS (Wachusett Mountain Ski Area, 41 Mile Hill Road, Westminster, MA) – NOT THE VISITOR CENTER WHERE WE HAVE MET A FEW TIMES BEFORE. Or use the Map & Directions button above.
Please gas up BEFORE coming to the meeting spot and allow yourself adequate time to join us at 9:30AM for coffee and the drivers meeting. (There are porta-potties at the meeting spot).
The nearest gas and bathrooms are Irving Gas Station/Dunkin Donuts, 21 Village Road, Westminster, MA (a short distance off Route 2 and about 10 minutes from our meeting spot).
We will leave promptly from the mountain at 10:00 AM.
Departing the mountain, we’ll travel some new and familiar roads throughout several quintessential New England town centers of the Wachusett and Central Massachusetts region. We’ll make a brief pitstop at the Hardwick Winery for photos.
After the run, we’ll retire to the quaint, family-run Mamma Italia Restorante, 139 Main Street, Sturbridge, MA for a nice lunch prepared by chef/owner Marco Baldieri. The restaurant is BYOB and has waived their $10 corking fee for our event.
