JOHN AND ROBERTA ROWNTREE are hosting an 80-mile AONE club drive in South Central New Hampshire. Starting in Milford, NH, we will head west along some scenic roads to Jaffrey, in the shadow of Mt. Monadnock, head north to Peterborough and Hancock, and then back to the east, ending in Merrimack. The ride is planned for April 22nd, with May 6th as a rain date.

We will meet at the starting point in the parking lot of the Shaw’s Supermarket on the east side of Milford – 586 Nashua Street (see the Map & Directions button above). This is near the intersection of Routes 101 and 101a. There are several choices to grab coffee and a bite to eat, including McDonalds and Starbucks. 

We will gather at 9:30 with a departure time of 10 am. The ride should take three hours with a few breaks for a stretch, restroom break, and photo ops.

Lunch will be in Merrimack at The Common Man restaurant just over the turnpike (Exit 11) on the Daniel Webster Highway.

The final call about the weather and whether to run on the 22nd or postpone to May 6th will be determined by Thursday, April 20th.

The Monadnock tours were popular club events back in the mid-2000s and they’ve returned for the 2020s! Come on along!
