OWNER MICHAEL DONNELLY HAS GRACIOUSLY INVITED THE CT AND AONE CLUBS for a visit to The Paddock Classic Car Restorations in New Britain CT. As a regular visitor, I am constantly amazed at the variety of beautiful (and rare) cars that pass through this shop and the incredible work that is performed on them for their owners! In a mere three years, The Paddock has become recognized as one of the leading restoration shops in the Northeast!

Currently, there are 6–7 Alfas in the shop, including Frank LaSala's 1959 Giulietta Sprint awaiting a start to its restoration. Three GTVs are painted and undergoing reassembly. Two are getting highly modified Twin-Spark engines and one is sporting the complete Alfaholics GTA-R treatment. The third is a "wide-body" Stepnose vintage racer that has custom fiberglass flares and body panels manufactured by The Paddock. Also in the shop currently are two Ferraris, a DeTomasso, a very rare BMW 2002 Turbo, and even a Chevy Nova drag car!

The mechanical shop is flat out with a Model T being cared for by Roger Barr, an antique Army jeep undergoing maintenance, and a gorgeous Mercedes 280 SL is being assembled after a stunning paint job. Just as interesting is the variety of very cool cars in the showroom.

Please join us on Saturday, January 22nd at 10:30. A light lunch will be served after shop tours and socializing – and, we will keep an eye on the weather.

If you're planning to attend, please email John DeWaele at dewaelejpd@gmail.com by Wednesday, January 19th.

The Paddock is located at 285 Columbus Blvd. New Britain, CT 06051.
