Mountains Driving Tour
Join
us on a day-long tour of the famous White Mountains of New Hampshire,
with stops at Bretton Woods and the Mount Washington Hotel, Crawford Notch,
Attitash/Bear Mountain,
and the Kancamagus Highway. Gorgeous mountain scenery, white-capped mountains,
and wild mountain streams will be our fare. We will see an
ancient
railroad trestle in current use, abundant wildlife, and drive some of the most
fun roads ever. (We will not see
the famous "Old Man of the Mountains",
which has recently tumbled from its centuries-old perch.) The big challenge will be to
keep your wheels on the road whilst gawking at the scenery. A group lunch will
be arranged. The Tour will begin at the convention hotel in Manchester and there will be
limited shopping opportunities, depending on schedule.
