... Time Trials

NHIS is an interesting and challenging course due to the various configurations and changes in elevation of the circuit. A top driving instructor has said, "If you can master NHIS, you can master any other track with ease". At New Hampshire International Speedway, there are high-speed stretches with hard-braking corners, high-speed corners, and lots of braking/trail-braking combinations, etc. The track has twelve turns.

The convention Time Trials will be held on Friday, July 30th. For AROC competition rules and classifications, click here to download the AROC Competition Code in PDF format. The number of cars participating in the Time Trials will be limited to 80, so make sure to sign up early! Non-Alfas may get bumped (and their fees refunded) if the quota is exceeded.
Practice time at NHIS will be available on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 to 5:00. This event is run by NHIS, and participants will be responsible for paying their standard practice session fee to NHIS directly. The number of Alfas will be limited to 25 cars. The cost is $100, and is for experienced drivers only. You can sign up at the track on Thursday morning.
There will be a professional photographer at the Friday Time Trials, and action photos of you and your steed will be made available for a fee. For lunch, coffee, and the like, the Checkered Flag Restaurant in the race track infield will be open from 8am - 2pm for drivers and spectators.
By the way, if you're towing a racecar to the Convention (or even if you're not!), you might be interested to know that there is SCCA racing at historic Lime Rock Park in Connecticut on both the weekend before the Convention (July 23-24, NNJR National) and the weekend after (August 6-7, NNJR Regional).
